Exploring San Francisco

After a Saturday at Maker Faire, we spent Sunday exploring downtown San Francisco. First we met some friends for breakfast, then headed to the world-famous Exploratorium interactive science museum in its new location. This place is amazing!

Sara's head has swollen to enormous size!

I LOVE this retractable gate they had at the entrance to their exhibit workshop. The shop where they build their exhibits is in the middle of the hall and you can watch as things are built or repaired. I need an excuse to build a gate like this somewhere.

Generating electricity with pedal power.

After a morning at the Exploratorium we headed out into the streets. It wouldn’t be a visit to San Francisco without a ride on some streetcars and a cable car.
